Wiki when/when not to add 93010(EKG)??

Hello,

For an E/R visit, I'm confused as to when it is or is not allowable to add 93010(EKG) to the visit.... please help!

hi

for facility EKG you code 93005--- because at the facility the EKG is just being done and not read

for professional side you code 93010--because the doctor goes to the facility and reads the report
