My docs that i code for are a group of hospitalist. Same day one doc saw the patient and on that same day another doc from the group did a procedure. How would you code the procedure that was done by the 2nd doc? Which modifier?
 
Based on the limited info here, I would say that the Hospital Visit by your first Dr is the one that needs a modifier 57. Again, based on the limited info given.
