Last night I attended the New Member Orientation, they listed a few jobs adjacent to coding that would be applicable to satisfying the employment requirement in order to remove the A. Is there a more comprehensive list somewhere? Would a PAS job count? What components need to be included in the job in order to apply toward completing my apprenticeship? Is there a way for me to access more information regarding this? Thank you.

If you look at the AAPC apprentice page there is helpful information. Basically, any job you have, regardless of the title, your employer needs to state you utilized CPT, ICD10, HCPCS codes. I know a medical biller that their supervisor/manager refused to write or sign that letter. I know front desk people that their supervisor/manager did write the letter if they also did radiology authorizations. Also remember that job titles are sometimes unique to an organization. My organization calls most billers "Associate Physician Account Representative".
Any job that requires you to use CPT, ICD10, HCPCS should qualify. There are many posts in the forum where people list job titles that are relevant. In my opinion, those adjacent jobs (even if not qualifying to remove -A) are still helpful and help you better understand many aspects of a healthcare organization and revenue cycle. You might interact with clinicians, patients, and/or insurance companies. You might see/read medical notes. You become familiar with insurance payors and nuances of different policies.
Congratulations and good luck!!
