I bill for a General Surgery/Bariatric practice. My physician does the Lap Band surgery. What type of education or training is required for someone other than the physician to do adjustments to the Lap Band in the office? Who can do adjustments and what is the proper billing if it is not the physician doing the adjustment?
I am experienced when the physician does adjustments, I only have questions about other office staff being able to do them.
