If an MA gives an injection (96372), since the MA has no NPI, do you put the doctor as the rendering physician (ie: field 24J)?

Who is the provider when an MA gives an injection?

The rendering provider must be the supervising provider in the office at the time of the encounter. If no provider is in the office at the time then there is a problem.
