I am not familiar with radiology coding, but I am familiar with rules of coding, but I need some support on this. I think I already know the answer, but I am being argued regarding my answer bc they have always billed this way and got paid.
Internal Medicine Group-owns ultrasound machine and employ's the radiologist. Radiologist performs and signs off on the report. Who do we bill the ultrasound claim under, the radiologist or the internal medicine provider who owns the group?

I appreciate the help!
