Recently I have had a provider tell me that they were educated to not ever document family history for a workers comp encounter. I see how family history would most likely never be relevant to a work related injury. However, what do you do when it's a "new" patient level of service that requires documentation of all 3 PFSH. I realize that each state may have their own guidelines but so far, I have found nothing for my state that addresses this issue. Advice?
