Is anyone out there working in the Occupational Health field dealing with Workers compensation claims?
My provider is adding DX code Z56.06 (Other physical and mental strain related to work) on his charts.
My question is what should be documented to support adding this diagnosis to the chart?
Thank you for any input related to this
 
I don't work in that field, but what I would do is ask the provider what his/her justification is for including it. Then, I would ask him/her to include that information in the documentation. That might help.
