Hello everyone,

I am in need of some guidance on how to properly code for a patient who came in with a leg ulcer that was only washed and cleaned (no debridement took place) and then redressed with wet-to-moist dressings. I initially used code 97602 but, it is now being denied with Medicare for it being inclusive to the primary procedure. This dressing change was the only thing that happened in this visit.
