Patient is post-op total abdominal hysterectomy with scar revision. She is being seen for wound infection at surgical incision site. My question is can I bill for an E/M instead of a no-charge postop visit? She has been seen 12 times so far for wound packing and dressing. I am using dx of 998.32 with 99024.
