Hello,
New at coding X-ray reports for Orthopedic Office They have their own x-ray equipment and no radiologist.
I know that Mid-Levels can not read the x-rays so the doctor have to read them and do a report for them.
The doctor dictates the Indication, Radiographic Examination, Impression
My question is if the patient is out of the global period and the surgery was RT TKA can I just Z96.651 or would I have to Code Z09, Z06.651, 73562 (3 Views)
If they put in the Impression: Stable THA - Just wondering how I need to code this.
Any help is very much appreciated.
