Hello! Anyone have experience with Xiaflex administration codes billing practices? Is is appropriate to bill two administration codes on day 2 of any cycle? The AUA billing recommendations instructs to bill 54200 (for the J0775 Xiaflex $$$) and 54235 (pre-medication to induce erection) on cycle 1 Day 1. Each cycle is two injections. If they recommend to bill two codes on 1 day of a cycle, then it would seem appropriate to bill it on day one of any cycle but would not be appropriate to bill the 54235 (to harden the penis as required by the drug label) on every and each DOS with J0775 xiaflex? Our uro doc wants to bill two admin codes on every dos and he does not perform a new measurement. He actually meaures the curve a week before the first xiaflex. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
