Hi there ! hoping for some advice here..... I have a physician who performed Xiaflex injections on a patient into the pretendinous cord to the ring finger, the pretendinous cord to the small finger and lateral cord to the small finger. When billing I am not sure how to bill for both the injections into the small finger - I know that you can bill injection for each cord separately but in this case they would have the same finger modifier. Is there a way to do this? Can someone please advise? thank you!

Xiaflex.... a collagenase enzyme product.

I am thinking we can use 20527 for xiaflax injection according to health care provider office pos11. and we no need to use modifier because they dint specify which side is affected. If we want to use modifier we have to query the provider asking for laterality. drug we can use j0775. As per my research i found this article for billing purpose. please go through the attached article.
