My provider performed a Y-BOCS scale on a patient with OCD(symptoms). Is this a test I can bill for and if so, what codes are we looking at?
 
Psychological Testing

I have not seen this test in any list of psychological tests provided by insurance carriers (maybe because I am new to the field) but I think your only coding option is in the 96101 series.

I am hoping others will reply and increase my learning as well.
 
I have since talked to my provider and this is a very quick, basic test that they sometimes include in therapy and really isn't seperately billable.
