we use this with CPT 92587 and are getting denials by one insurance company. Any thoughts on what else?
 
If the provider is screening a patient for a particular problem rather than conducting just a general preventive hearing exam, then Z13.5 might be a more appropriate code. But really, the only diagnosis code you can use is the one that is supported by the documentation - you can't select a diagnosis simply to get an insurance company to pay for something.
