I have a provider who prescribed a Zio patch for a patient and I'm wondering I can count this as prescription drug management? If not, could it be counted as anything with the E/m coding guidelines?

Hi there, I looked up the Zio Patch and it is a remote cardiac monitoring device, so prescription drug management would not apply. You'll need to ask the doctor to tell you the level of risk for the visit.
