Home Health & Hospice Week

Industry Notes

• Cahaba GBA and National Government Services aren't the only intermediaries mailing paper provider statistical & reimbursement (PS&R) reports this year. Originally, CMS said no hard copy PS&R reports would be distributed this year and home care pro-viders would have to access the reports electronically. But then the intermediaries relented, although Cahaba stressed that it was the last time it would send out the reports (see Eli's HCW, Vol. XIX,No. 5, p. 40). Palmetto GBA planned to send out its paper PS&R reports by the end of April, it says in a question- and-answer set from its latest Ask The Contractor teleconference (ACT).
