• If you're not conducting every process measure on OASIS C every time, don't worry. Getting 100 percent of the processes in OASIS C done is "simply impossible," noted CMS's Robin Dowell at the National Association for Home Care & Hospice's March on Washington meeting in Washington, D.C. last month. Some processes only apply to certain patients, such as those with heart conditions or depression. Others can't be conducted if the patient refuses to cooperate or is in a coma, for instance, Dowell acknowledged.
