Summary

This is a Proprietary Laboratory Analyses (PLA) code, meaning that the code applies to only one unique lab test made by a specific manufacturer or performed by a specific lab. Report 0678U only for OncoAlly® Comprehensive Hereditary Cancer Analysis from Variantyx Inc. This diagnostic test is used for hereditary cancer evaluation. It uses blood, saliva, cultured skin fibroblasts from a skin biopsy, or extracted genomic DNA to perform genome sequencing for 117 genes. The test evaluates single–nucleotide variants, deletions and insertions, characterized intronic variants, copy number variants, duplications and deletions, mobile element insertions, and inversions.
