Summary

This is a Proprietary Laboratory Analyses (PLA) code, meaning that the code applies to only one unique lab test made by a specific manufacturer or performed by a specific lab. Report 0679U only for OncoAlly® Hereditary Hematologic Cancer Analysis from Variantyx Inc. This test is used for hereditary hematologic cancer evaluation. It uses genomic DNA isolated from blood, saliva, or cultured skin fibroblasts from a skin biopsy to perform whole genome sequencing and analyze more than 105 genes. The test evaluates single–nucleotide variants, deletions and insertions, characterized intronic variants, copy number variants, duplications and deletions, mobile element insertions, and inversions. Results identify and categorize genetic variants.
