Summary

In this procedure, the provider  incises the skin over a synthetic rod he previously put in place in a patient’s finger or hand to create a site for an extensor tendon graft. He then removes synthetic rod that was put in during the first session and replaces the rod with an extensor tendon graft. Report this code once for each rod the provider removes and replaces with a tendon graft.
