In this procedure, a consulting provider performs imaging supervision and interpretation for a fetal monitoring service at the request of the attending provider. The consulting provider monitors the fetus during labor by supervising or personally attaching an electrode to the fetus and performing the monitoring and interpretation of the results in a written report to the attending provider.
