Code 92065 describes vision therapy administered in the office under physician direction for the treatment of conditions such as amblyopia (poorly developed vision), strabismus, ocular motility dysfunction, accommodative disorders (focusing problems), visual information processing disorders. This has sometimes been referred to as physical therapy for the eyes and orthoptics literally means straightening of the eyes. Pleoptics involves a technique of eye exercises designed to correct faulty binocular vision.
