I see some varicose veins being billed with a new code 37241?
Is anyone familiar with it. It describes embolization which is usually used to treat venous malformation. Is there anyone that can give advice? How can I confirm whether this code can be used to treat varicose veins, it is a high paying code.

Not this code, you are using codes 36468-36479 for varicose veins.

Bringing this one back. we have been seeing docs using this for Chemical/mechanical ablations because that is what the reps are telling them to do. This is wrong.
