When looking up code 27096, it list that image guidance is included (fluoroscopy or CT).........My question is what does the CT stand for? Contrast? Simple question that has me stumped :confused:

Computerized Tomography.
You should buy a book or laminated guide to medical abbreviations. You'll find it helpful.
You could always Google CT as well.
 
That was my guess, but a coworker is saying she's always been taught it meant contrast. I didn't think that was correct but I wanted 2nd opinions before I approached her.
