Can they be used on the same code or do you need to create a new line item.. (e.g. 20610, LT,RT or 20610,LT and 20610, RT. Thanks

the CPT codes have to be on two lines:
20610 RT
20610 LT

Yes, some payers request it to be on a single line, 1 UOS, with Mod 50 rather than billing RT/LT. If you're billing RT/LT, you must bill each on single line w/ appropriate modifier. Good luck!
