Can you charge 76801 + 76802 even though the second gestation sac is empty? and for the diagnosis code, would I use fetal demise (O36.4XX0) or missed AB (O02.1)? Thank you

Technically he did do an evaluation of the fetus B, but the finding was negative. Still he did the work so I would advise coding for both. This is not a missed AB as there was no fetus. It is a twin pregnancy with loss of one fetus because there are two sacs. That would be O31.20X1 (as this is first trimester and fetus 1 is present).
