I need help to find a medicare fee schedule for a year in the 1980's. My physician wants to compare the reimbursement changes from then to now. I have been on medicare's website, and it won't let me go back any further than 2000. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just a suggestion if he wants his own info (as opposed to overall), but pull your old EOBs if you have them. It might be a place to start.

You might also find information at a medical library, the public library or some type of archives from a local medical society.

I would try to pull your old EOB's. My old employer never destroyed anything.....no matter how old. Everything over 15 years was located in a different secure location.
