Quick question: If a Dr. removes a polyp via snare in the ascending colon and then wants to mark with tattoo, can I bill both 45385 and 45381?
 
when we bill these two cpt codes together we add a claim note stating how much ink was used to tattoo the site.
Ever since we started adding comment to claim form we have had less denials when submitting these together.

Example :
2 cc of india ink was injected to tattoo this site
3ml of spot ink was used to tattoo the mass for later identification
 
45385 Screening vs. Diagnostic

Can anyone provide a sequence of ICD-10-CM Codes for this procedure?

I started out having a High Risk Screening, that turned Diagnostic because of a polyp removal. I get this, but wonder if there is a way to sequence the ICD-10-CM codes so High Risk Screening is listed first.
