The bladder is surveyed in it's entirety. The was mild surrounding erythema of about 2cm. This was on the left lateral wall. The flexible forceps is inserted and used to biopsy a representative sample to allow for diagnosis of recurrence. A bugbee electrode is then inserted and is used to fulgurate the base of the bladder at the biopsy location.
