Is anyone billing 64450 with dx R05.3 for chronic cough and getting paid , we are getting denials

Hi, I've never seen a policy or LCD that covers peripheral nerve blocks for that diagnosis code.

they are doing for chronic cough, per the note -: Superior laryngeal nerve block. Procedure: CPT 64450: Peripheral nerve block (internal branch of superiorlaryngeal nerve)

Superior Laryngeal nerve block is 64408 as a branch of the vagus nerve
