Does anyone know the reason behind the NCCI edit denying 77338 to G6015 (previously 77418)?
 
Good Morning, has anyone reviewed this yet and come up with anything? some payers pay this no problem when billed on sme date. Medicare requires 59 mod on 77338 for seperate reimbursement and BCN denies everything clinical edit , for this issue will pay G6015 deny 77338/59 but with documentation will pay the 77338/59 and denied the G6015 and they reimburse 77338 at a higher rate. Both should be allowed to be paid? When 77338 was initially created to bill for IMRT, there were no issues. Somewhere something changed.
