Aetna/Cigna - hard to become in network with?

Hello, we are interested in becoming in network with Aetna and Cigna. Aetna took over 6 months to get back to our expressed interest and seems delayed in their response. Does anyone have any tips here or better contact information to expedite this process?

If you offer a unique service that is lacking in their network in your geographic area, you can frame the request that way.

They are likely to be more responsive if they don't have enough of your provider type in their network in your area.
