When a patient leaves AMA (against medical advice), can an E/M level be applied? Can you bill for ED charts when a patient leaves AMA? (Critical Access Hospital)

there is any lab or rad work done before ama? if yes, assign level one with mod 25 for radiology service, only lab work then no modifier. We use internal code and Z53.20 to close the AMA account when there nothing was done. ( I code for facility)
