We recently found out Amerigroup (TN Medicaid) has changed their requirements for billing a preventative physical to include full genital exams on children. The doctor I work for is not comfortable doing genital exams on every child. Is it possible to still see these patients but not complete the physicals? Can a doctor choose what procedures they want to perform?
