Guys,
When doing angiographies of the celiac axis, the coding goes as follows, correct?
They re all in the same vascular family, so if doing a celiac, and then rt/lt hepatic, one uses the 36248 and 36247, 75726, 75774, 75774..
If there is more than one 2nd or 3rd order, i would use 36248 and 36247.
So if were a celiac and then a splenic, it would be 36246 and 75726,75774, but if it were a celiac and then splenic, and then say dorsal pancreatic, i would code 36247,36248,75726,75774,75774-59.
Just want to be sure I have this right.
Thanks.
