InThe ACL was noted to be avulsed off the femoral region. Inspection of the lateral compartment revealed no significant articular surface pathology...... the ACL stump was debrided, notchplasty performed...... Incision was deepened to the patella tendon in layers. The mid one third of the patella tendon was harvested with 10x25 mm bone plug at either end. Defect in patella was closed.
