What diagnosis codes can be used to screen a child who has not yet been diagnosed with autism? Would it just be his behavioral symptoms? Could we use V79.2 or V79.3? I need help asap!!!
 
If the patient is currently exhibiting behavioral symptoms then it is not a screening, therefore use the code(s) for the behavioral issue(s)
