I work for a multi group physician practice in NYS. BCBS has implemented coding updates effective March 18, 2017. One of the updates really doesn't make any sense to me. CPT Code 22614 will not be eligible for separate reimbursement when reported with CPT Codes 22600, 22610, and 22612. It also states modifiers will not override this edit. Has anyone else seen any of these denials? If so, has anyone had success appealing?
