Wiki bilateral stent same day as cath

My doctor billed bilateral stent same day as Left Heart Cath. Went in knowing that they were going to do both from testing beforehand. Can I still add the 59 modifier to the cath? As both were needed.

If this was not a diagnostic cath, then you cannot bill the LHC.

How did they know they were going to place a stent?
