Pt is Medicare.
She was seen in the office on 1-5-10 for a follow up on HTN. Later the same day she was admitted to the hopital for a completely un-related issue from her appintment earlier in the day. Is there a appropriate modifier I can use to bill the office visit and the hospital????
 
You need to put a 25 modifier on the ov and make sure different diagnosis on the ov from the hospital.
