What is the difference in the two CE codes 91110 and 91111? I see that 91110 is esophagus thru the ileum and 91111 just says esophagus but our doctor placed the capsule into the stomach while pt was under sedation and also did an EGD with biopsy? Any ideas how to bill this? Any help would be very appreciated.

You might check for an LCD for your area. Ours in Indiana is LCD #L25468, you might check there, this gives you all the different descriptions etc. It's a place to start for you.

The capsules are different depending on whether you are doing esophagus or small intestine.
