I need help with billing fracture care. We had to send a Patient out for Xrays on his wrist. But our doctor believes that it is an acute closed fracture likely some displacement. I don't have a clue what to bill?? Any help would be great.

You cannot code an uncertain dx such as the provider believes it to be or likely. So until the provider has a definitive dx use the symptoms.

The diagnosis code is S62.101A Closed fracture of wrist, I need help with the CPT code.

Without the note I can only guess. Possible only an E&M possible fx care.
