Hi,
Can someone tell me the correct code to use for CMC Arthroplasty with an Arteleon spacer implant? The codes I have in mind are 25447 or 26536. Also the physician did this procedure on the RT in October and then on the LT in December. The patient is still in global from October, but I do not think the mod 78 would be appropriate for the procedure he did on the left, because it is unrelated, therefore; I think LT is suffice. I understand that a mod 79 although unrelated is if done in the office. Please clarify. Thanks!;)
 
The code I most often use for the CMC is 25447 (is there any sort of tendon transfer? if so there would be an additional code for that).

The 79 modifier would be appropriate for this scenario and not limited to office procedures.
