Codes for dental surgery related to medical accident

I am trying to assist a patient in getting a prior authorization for an abutment supported crown. BCBS requests medical not dental codes to justify this procedure. I have found HCPCS codes relevant ranging from D6056 through D6066. The patient was severely beaten last year causing multiple mandibular fractures and loss of a few teeth, thus this procedure is relevant to this event. Does anyone know what diagnosis codes could be used to support medical necessity and prove this is medically necessary and not a cosmetic procedure so BCBS will cover it? I appreciate any feedback!
