HI All,

Is the correct way to bill a sports physicial using the cpt codes 99381-99397 with the V70.03 dx code????? Our office is in debate and some say that you should use a E/M code with the V70.03 dx. Any advice???

We bill/code age appropriate preventive E/M's - with Dx: V70.3 (no such code as V70.03). These exams are charged at a reduced rate since they aren't usually a complete physicial.
