Hi..
I have a case where venous balloon angioplasty was performed on Rt.Common iliac vein, Rt.External Iliac vein and Rt. Common femoral vein.

Please advice if this has to coded as 3 units
or should be coded as per the iliac, Femoro-popliteal, and Tibio-Peroneal territory guidelines.

Hi, you should be billing 2 units the common fem and ext iliac veins are 1 zone and the common iliac is the central or 2nd zone.
 
Hi,
Territories are classified for lower extremity revascularization codes which is for arteries.
For veins we can code with the number of vessels treated.
35476*3, 75978*3.
