I have a question regarding hospt visits for specialists that are consulted in and I greatly appreciate in advance your help.

We are a specialist and we get consulted to see pts in the hospt. We diagnosis the pt according to what we treat, do we also use the admitting hospt diagnosis codes when billing these charges?

Again, your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
 
Use the initial visit and subsequent codes under the dx you're physician is seeing patient for.
