I am a CPC-A, CRCST - 7 years hospital experience in various roles.

I am PA located searching for a remote/hybrid job in the Pittsburgh area.

Any leads? Any advice on how to land a job?
 
Hi, I'm in a similar boat, in Pittsburgh, but CPhT with the CPC-A. Are you currently working in a hospital role? I'm intending to get hired for a role by an organization that actually hires coders. Something coding-adjacent.

Hi there! I’m a CPC-A and currently work in healthcare—I’ve been in the field for about seven years. Unfortunately, most of my experience has been more hands-on rather than administrative. I’ve primarily worked behind the scenes as a CRCST (Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician). I have knowledge of surgeries, procedures, anatomy, terminology and was hoping to land a coding job with that experience, but I haven’t had any luck. I have completed a full coding course and know my way around it, it just seems so hard to land anything!
