I am excited to advance my career in healthcare information management. I have over 10 years of experience in office administration and customer service, and I know these skills would go hand in hand with the requirements of a Medical Billing and Coding Specialists.
I completed a one-year medical billing and coding certificate program with Purdue University Global which is a AHIMA Professional Certificate Approval Program (PCAP). I also completed the Medical Coding and Billing Certification (MCBC) through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) in November 2022 and received the Certified Professional Coder (CPC-A) certification through AAPC in February.
In my previous positions I assisted multiple C-Suite level executives in expense reimbursement, corporate meeting arrangements and communications, extensive travel bookings and invoice processing. I value integrity, compliance, and efficient communication at work. These values were an integral part of my previous career. I managed an office with over 30 employees and routinely hosted department roundtables to ensure executive support was adequate. I am a highly organized and competent worker, and I am self-motivated to complete required tasks in a timely manner with excellent problem solving and judgment skills.
